Fitted wardrobes, drawer banks, and pull-out shoe racks in a family home
The Brief
A full walk-in dressing room designed around the customer's storage - wall of white sprayed drawer banks, a tall unit with pull-out shoe racks, hanging rails for full-length dresses, and a fitted vanity desk in the alcove.
What We Did
A full walk-in dressing room built around the customer's storage and use pattern. The layout ran across three walls of the room: a full-height bank of white shaker drawer fronts down one side, a tall pull-out shoe rack unit in the corner, hanging rails along the return wall, and a made-to-measure vanity desk in the alcove opposite.
Carcases were built in the workshop from moisture-resistant board with soft-close runners and full-extension slides on every drawer. The shoe rack is pull-out mesh trays on side runners, so the whole rack slides out to floor level for easy loading. Doors and fronts were sprayed in a soft white PU finish in the workshop before installation, giving a durable, chip-resistant surface.
Installation ran over two days on site. Floors were fully protected, existing skirting was scribed to, and every drawer and door was adjusted before hand-over.
The Result
A dressing room that uses every inch of wall space, with soft-close drawers, a pull-out shoe rack that takes 20+ pairs, and a fitted vanity - all finished in a durable sprayed white that will still look new in ten years.
